Lash Care Tips

Retention is important to us all!

NO OILS

-Oils dissolve the adhesive bond. Oil free makeup and makeup remover are musts.

CLEAN DAILY

-Very diluted baby shampoo works great.

HUMIDIFY YOUR SPACES

-Dry air is the enemy of retention.

CAUTION WITH OVENS AND GRILLS

-Let the steam dissipate so as not to singe lashes.

DOUBLE WASHCLOTH METHOD

-When taking a shower have two washcloths handy. Use one as usual and the second one is to stay dry and drape on your forehead and over your eyes as you rinse your shampoo and conditioner backwards to ensure that you get none of those high oil content products in your lashes!

DON’T LET WATER PRESSURE POUND YOUR EYES

-When rinsing your face in the shower use handfuls to splash instead of letting the shower pressure pound your lashes.

AVOID GETTING FACIAL CLEANSERS IN YOUR LASHES

-We love these cloths for wiping cleansers off and exfoliating too! Muslin Cloths

DO NOT USE REGULAR MASCARA

You may use our extension safe mascara ($35 and wonderful!)

-Don’t forget to clean it off each night, just water works fine!

TRY NOT TO SLEEP ON YOUR LASHES

DO REMOVE THOSE THAT ARE READY TO SHED AND CROOKED

-You think you don’t want them to go but their crookedness just makes the other extensions look bad, if you let that one go the rest will look better. We promise.

When you shed in a way that is imbalanced just wait a day or two for more shed that will balance it out. Ride the wave. Or schedule a Mind the Gap to even out! Some sheds are better than others, we know that, that's why we invented this service. Affordable and fast!

If you have our mascara that is a great tool to get you through to your next appointment. A swipe by day and a rinse at night.
